Homecoming

Yesterday I packed my bags one final time and moved all that was left in The little house of love & returned it to The CLT Den at the Thornton homestead. As sad as I was to leave the house which had over the past 4 months become home to Angel & myself, it was somewhat refreshing to return home to my wonderful bedroom. I'm not shy to admit I absolutely love my room. Its splendid, and with ALL of my artwork gracing the walls, insense burning, Josh Pyke serenading me & small pleasures all over the place I feel more like myself than ever before.

A couple of other things excited & impressed me about moving home.

1. My fathers "Movember" efforts. Even though its not even half way through the month he is sporting a mighty fine "MO". Before this blog is over I will pester him for a mug shot so that I am able to share my joy.

2. My brothers amazing carpentry efforts. I walked in the door to discover an amazing bed side table which he designed and created himself. I am sure he's on the way to become a Master in his field. However not as good as the man on SBS, the Yankee workshop (or something similar) He is incredible. Thank you Brett for sharing it with me.

3. My gorgeous dog running up the hallway unexpectedly and almost bowling me over (thanks dad.) After having closely shared a house with an adorable and affectionate pooch during my time at the love shack, I am definately more of a dog person. Not that I wasn't before, however I have realised they do well to keep you company when your feeling lonely.

ALSO Jarrason (a dear old friend) & Ash (his gorgeous lady) have also made this week brilliant.
After ambushing them on their first day in Vicco & forcing them to watch Drop Dead Fred with me and my cousin I have decided there is no escape from me whilst they are down here. Lovely discussions with my amazing Best friend Tess Armstrong & Luke Emmerson on Friday night also brighten my moods by about 198854% and then to top off the night Harry Potter brought me even more mystical joy.

Plans for my next project are also under way, targets are being sussed out & I am brainstorming bigger & better things for this one. However I feel the master unveiling may have to wait until I return from Europe as being 22days away from my journey of a lifetime I don't want to try and rush to have it done before I leave.

"If you provide & create everything you want in life for yourself no-one else will ever have the power to take it away from you." - Quoted: Chloe Thornton 8-11-2008 whilst hard at work cleaning the shower.

To put the icing on the cake of a great week, right at this moment I can hear my dad rocking out to Bloc Party. OH the joy! As promised here is a photo of my fathers stylish "Mo"

Farewell fellow readers, I am off to explore the Mill Markets with divine company.
