Paris, Switzerland, Florence, Rome, Venice, Austria.

Good Evening fellow readers,

Currently I am sitting in my hostel at 5.36pm in Salzberg in Austria.
I do not even know to begin explaining the things I have been lucky enough to experience since starting this amazing journey 10days ago. There is just so much that I´ve seen it actually hurts my brain to try & some get it down in a blog.

Paris blew my mind, possibly because it was the first country I´d been to in Europe. I have realized this because as we have ventured further into Europe I keep becoming more & more amazed by the beauty of each place we go to. In Paris we honestly saw EVERYTHING you need to see when visiting the architecturally amazing city. Everything in Paris is created with such care and effort. The lamp posts, buildings, benches, cafes, food, galleries, artwork. Everything is so beautiful, there is nothing like what there was in Paris back home. We saw the Moulin Rouge, Eiffel Tower, visited Montmartre, the Louvre and numerous Cathedrals & galleries. Its quite hard to explain just how stunning the Cathedrals are in Paris. I could sit in them all day, thinking, drawing, listening to explosions in the sky. When you see how much effort they put in to their buildings & religious sanctuaries its almost enough to make you believe. I believe in spirituality & higher being, a higher state of awareness & the soul but to see these absolutely ENORMOUS places that are built to worship their god & religion its absolutely amazing. Like I said, there is nothing remotely like it back in Australia.

Whilst in the Louvre I found myself thinking, who do we look up to in today´s society. Who in this day & age is worthy of worship, respect & adoration. I was looking at all these statues of revolutionaries, people who changed life as everyone knew it, people who made extraordinary moves & actions that were pure\or selfish but completely self driven. They knew what needed to be done, they stepped out of the box that is seen as where people should fit in, in society, made things happen on their own & in turn influenced the lives of many people not strong enough to make the movement on their own. Have we got to the stage where we are so tightly bound by the restrictions of society that we are afraid to move, afraid to act in fear of how society will label us? GOD I HOPE NOT. I want a fricken idol, that is not a celebrity, a model or the rich & famous. Someone worthy of my respect. Maybe I will just stick to adoring people who are not so ordinary, in my every day life.

Switzerland was our next stop and it blew me away more than Paris because of its natural beauty. We stayed in Cabins in the middle of the Swiss Alps and were surrounded by christmas tree´s, adorable little houses with shutters on the windows & greeting mats. It was so relaxing & so surreal, it snowed, we have massive snow fights & got trashed in a gorgeous little bar in the place we were staying. They had coasters hanging from the roof with messages on them, this covered the entire roof of the bar. It was a great night, and the first night that everyone really started bonding and the " Disciples" emerged. It was a good night, lets just say there is now a bra hanging in a bar in Switzerland with my name on it. I also traveled to the top of the Swiss Alps on train & went to the Ice Palace which was beautiful.

From Switzerland we ventured to Italy, a place that I wouldn´t have personally thought to go to on my own but it was well worth it once I´d been. We visited Piza, Florence, Rome & Venice. Rome & Venice were my favourites, we have made a habit of walking whole cities instead of taking public transport. Its a way way better idea, we see so much more and it is so much more interactive. You get to look in stalls, mingle with the locals, visit galleries. Its just great!
My assertive side is also becoming more prevalent especially with hagglers, in Paris a man was trying to get me to buy souvenirs I didn´t want I politely said no thanks at which he responded `YES` in an elevated tone, I simply responded in the same tone `NO` it was quite hilarious but I guess you have to be there. Venice was incredible, I can remember seeing it on a documentary years ago and was absolutely shocked that a place such as that existed, then to yesterday be walking around the street & gliding down the canals was so surreal.

Our epic tales of trying to get back to hotels, find our way round Paris & Italy, drunken Karaoke & games, snow fights, bus sing alongs. CHEESE, I am sooooooo sick of cheese, Europe has got no clue what the hell to do with Vegetarians in Europe. I have had too much cheese! way too much
!

I must say we have a brilliant group of people on tour. The Disciples consist of:
Tess, Angel, Chloe, Tessa, Georgia, Mel, Tom, Matt, Callum & Jackson. Our `last supper` photo´s have been quite the tradition. Just Because. Thats not a kiss. Act Natural. Box Head. I can be your hero baby. Buddy. There is just so much that I could say, share, but its so overwhelming. I can say with much relief that I am glad to be Brunette after seeing the loads of smoothing Italian men flock at the Blondes on Tour when we hit up an Italian Karaoke bar in Florence. Tess, Angel, Tessa, Georgia.

I wish I could write more but I must be off, to explore, eat & play the brilliant game, box head.
